the USCSA Legacy Service Award
In recognition of his involvement in college ski racing officiating
Sam was known for posting a simple picture from each race he officiated with the caption:
“another day, another ski race…”
This sign hangs at one of his favorite mountains, Elk Mountain, on a race team building where he had put it many many hours over the years.
